I discovered collage in the mid-90's when I took workshops with Cheryl Stevenson, Janet Hofacker and Anne Bagby in a matter of a few months. I just love this medium. It allows me to express myself in a very visual and deep way. I started experimenting with Assemblage around the same time and have about eight projects going at one time. I have a studio shed that my husband built me, where I can have all my things out and ready to go. I love vintage things and am influenced by the objects that I find, and enjoy combining unusual things together to create a story. I use my own photographs and some of my polymer clay pieces to create box constructions. HERE are some of my pieces.
