This is my husband Dave. I met him in 1978 and we were married in 1983. He looks happy because he just got his new Mini Cooper 'S' ! He has been into Minis since he first drove his friend's '61 Mini which he ended up buying for $325.00 in 1966. Since 1970 he has owned an award-winning 1969 Mini Cooper S which he spent 4 years restoring in 1981. He used to own and race lots of Minis in the 70's and 80's and has won numerous prizes at Mini Meets. He even built an electric Mini in 1974!

Dave does lots of things. He's great with tools, and as you can see he built my studio. He has a complete wood shop and even has a British Myford ML7 metal lathe. Whenever I need a tool to try some new art technique, he already has it! He loves gardening too.

Since he was a kid Dave has been into model rocketry, airplanes and ham radio. His call sign is VE2 KDL. Dave's also a pilot. We have been to a lot of places in his Mooney 231.

Dave's been into photography since he was a kid, first using an Ansco Snappy 120 film box camera. He's got 3 Minolta 35 mm bodies and every lens known to man and then some! Being a Scuba diver, he has also taken a lot of underwater shots with his Nikonos III. He built our latest darkroom with a wet table which is really a huge 9 foot long sink. We've got a Simon Omega D5-XL enlarger with the Super Chromega Dichroic II Color Head which does negatives up to 4" x 5". We also have a handy 3-lens turret and a Simtron II Color Analyzer . Dave and I both love to travel and we take lots of photos on our trips. Dave does digital color now, while I do the B+W. Thanks for the darkroom Dave!
